Rumsey Records LLC is a dream come true for Heath Eric. After many years as a "suit & tie" guy, he decided to follow his true passion... MUSIC! From that dream came Rumsey Records!
Our studio is located in a rural, country setting and is built into Heath & Molly's home in Rumsey, KY. The entire lower level has been completely gutted and remodeled during construction of Rumsey Records.
The studio is approx. 800 square feet of recording space, which allows to create a magical and intimate environment for solos, duos, and trios and also gives is plenty of room for groups.
We primarily use RODE large-diaphragm vocal microhones, SHURE condensers and dynamic mics, and various other mics for special projects.
We run Pro Tools 9 on our Mac-based systems. We can record up to 16 tracks simultaneously / 256 max. We can also import and convert most digital audio formats for use in our system.
We have a studio drum kit as well as bass, acoustic guitars, keyboards, and more. We'll do our best to accommodate you and your specific needs.
